(A continuation of the last blog post.)
Double check what you post on your Facebook Timeline because the selfies and status you post may have an impact on how people will see you.
With Facebook being one of the most used social media, most of us can’t help but make assumptions based on their daily status or selfies.
So, here is the continuation of what does your Facebook Timeline say about you:
On people posting their whereabouts on their Facebook Timeline
The perks of posting your whereabouts: You will be branded as adventurous.
You always love to share the places you’ve been and let your friends know where you are. People would like to come with you if you ask them to.
The detriments of posting your whereabouts: You will somehow be branded as proud.
People would often think of you as the today’s Dora the explorer. Be careful because sometimes people do not care where you are, so most of the time it annoys them seeing you at their wall with your everyday adventure post.
What to do when posting your whereabouts: You have to choose the right place to share.
Most of the time if you are just in your room and in the store next to your house, these are not worth sharing. People aren’t interested about it unless he/she is really a stalker of yours. You better think about it.
On People posting their pictures on their Facebook Timeline
The perks of posting your pictures: You will be branded as confident. Most of the people would look up to your self-confidence and of course your beauty.
The detriments of posting your pictures: People would most likely see you as narcissistic. You either love yourself too much or you’re just bored that you keep on taking pictures. They actually call it, vanity.
What to do when posting your pictures: It is actually fine to post pictures as long as it is not super daily like every hour. It irritates the people. Do you like to see your wall filled with pictures of the same person? Of course not, right? Who on earth would love that?
What is our point of sharing to you this small list of different types of people on Facebook?
Simple, we want you to realize that whatever you post on your Facebook Timeline, it would directly describe you. Facebook is a place where you can brand yourself. So before posting anything, think twice.
Grab the chance to brand yourself as a good one. No one can see you on the virtual world. All they see is your posts. So, think about the brand you want people to see in you.
